The partnership of Bear Creek Cattle Company and Driftless Dells, in LaFarge,
WI is reducing our herd size and offering the following for sale: (ages as of
spring 2007)
8 yearlings: 1 bull sired by Rotokawa Devon 982, 2 steers – ready to finish!
5 bred heifers from Rotokawa Devon 982 or Pharo Shortcut line – all these
heifers were exposed to our yearling bulls (1 from Pharo Shortcut line, 1 from
Devon 982) since June.
4 two-yr. olds, Red heifers – daughters of Rotokawa Devons 667 or 688
1 three-yr old Red cow – daughter of Pharo Shortcut
1 Red Angus cow about 8 yrs. old – exposed 9-07
1 registered Black Angus Bull 6.5 yr. Great disposition! From Rick Case's Hawk
Valley Angus.
Our herd is entirely grassfed, and other than AI breeding, organically raised.
We have used Pharo (Shortcut) and Bakewell (Devon 688, 667, 982) sires in our
AI program the past 4 years. All females preg checked with ultrasound on 8-29.
